About The Position

To support the Summit Bechtel Reserve through exceptional facility care, logistical coordination, and residential services that enable safe, clean, and welcoming environments for all programs, participants, guests, and staff.

Requirements

  • Minimum age: 18+ (16+ if able to commute)
  • Able to obtain SBR driving permit during orientation
  • Willing to become a registered Scouting America member (includes background screening)
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
  • Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 8 hours daily
  • Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds
  • Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record, including height/weight guidelines

Responsibilities

  • Physical labor operations including cleaning, stocking, and preparation for guests and customers
  • Ensure work and customer areas are clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe
  • Ensure facilities and equipment are left clean and in good repair by both guests and staff
  • Power wash shower houses, sanitize, and stock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.
  • Help clean and maintain all facilities and camp equipment
  • Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions
  • Maintain a clean, organized, inspected, neat, and safe work area
  • Perform additional duties assigned by SBR leadership
  • Abide by policies and procedures outlined in the SBR staff handbook
