About The Position

Bartenders are core team members in a scratch-kitchen restaurant and provide guests with individualized, exceptional service. They prepare P.F. Chang’s alcoholic beverages and garnishes, maintain and restock bar equipment and beverages, and work with the hospitality team to help ensure guests have what they need. The role also includes learning the restaurant’s seating and service layout, table-setting and clearing procedures, and responsible alcohol-service practices. The posted pay is $11.98 per hour plus tips, based on experience. The position is offered as full-time or part-time hourly work.

Requirements

• Meet state minimum age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Have excellent customer service skills and etiquette.
• Be able to follow proper sanitation practices and safety procedures.
• Have a current Food Handler’s Card or be able to obtain one, where applicable.
• Be able to multitask in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Have knowledge of proper sanitation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate, deliver, and exceed guest expectations to provide an exceptional hospitality experience.
• Prepare P.F. Chang’s alcoholic beverage recipes, including garnishes.
• Operate and clean bar equipment, and assist with beverage inventories and restocking.
• Understand the restaurant seating layout, server sections, and food delivery procedures.
• Partner with other hospitality service team members to ensure guests have everything they need.
• Learn to set and clear tables neatly and efficiently according to P.F. Chang’s China Bistro specifications.
• Follow company procedures for responsible alcoholic beverage service.
