About The Position

The Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to the restaurant’s standard recipes while providing attentive service to bar guests. The role includes serving food to guests seated at the bar, maintaining an attractive and functional bar, replenishing supplies, and staying informed about menu offerings and restaurant services. The bartender also prepares guest bills, processes payments, and reports gratuities in accordance with IRS income-reporting standards. This is a fast-paced, team-oriented role that requires a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Have 1–2 years of prior bartending experience.
Bring positive energy and be ready to assist fellow support staff as a team player.
Communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
Have a flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Be able to stand and walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Responsibilities

Create, prepare, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to the restaurant’s standard drink recipes.
Attend to bar patrons and serve food to guests dining at the bar.
Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner.
Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies and complete required side work.
Stay educated on menu offerings and respond promptly to questions or requests about menus, dietary restrictions, and restaurant functions and services.
Prepare and present final bills, process payments, and report gratuities received in compliance with IRS income-reporting standards.
Assist fellow support staff and work as a team player.
