About The Position
Upland Brewing - Jeffersonville is looking for bartenders to join its team. The ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and reliable. The bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, interacts with customers, takes orders, and supports an excellent guest experience while maintaining an organized, stocked, and clean bar and complying with food and beverage regulations.
Requirements
- Proven working experience as a bartender.
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks.
- Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
- Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of a second language.
Responsibilities
- Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
- Interact with customers, take orders, and serve snacks and drinks.
- Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations.
- Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails.
- Plan and present the bar menu.
- Check customers’ identification and confirm they meet the legal drinking age.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Stay guest-focused and nurture an excellent guest experience.
- Comply with all food and beverage regulations.
