About The Position

At Dave & Buster’s/Main Event Entertainment, Bartenders craft cocktails, pour beer, and serve food, drinks, and entertainment to Guests. They create a welcoming environment and provide exceptional, timely service. Bartenders should know the menu well, make food and beverage suggestions, and uphold high standards of safety and sanitation.

Requirements

• At least 6 months of bartending experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Alcohol certification, as required.
• Comply with company uniform standards.
• Be ready to create a memorable Guest experience.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Communicate effectively with Management, Team Members, and Guests.
• Act with a swift sense of urgency.
• Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays, subject to business needs.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and engage with Guests as an ambassador of FUN.
• Recommend menu items and ensure order accuracy.
• Use knowledge of beer, wine, and cocktails to serve Guests.
• Deliver food and drinks promptly and anticipate Guest needs.
• Follow local and state alcohol laws, procedures, and policies.
• Process payment transactions and invite Guests to return.
• Keep the bar stocked, clean, and safe, and complete necessary side work.
• Uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
