About The Position

The Bartender provides exceptional-quality service by serving guests’ needs with expert knowledge of wine, spirits, mixed drinks, and preparation methods. The role includes assisting with product inventory, bar supplies, and objectives set by bar managers. It is suited to someone passionate about craft cocktails, guest connection, and delivering an elevated bar experience in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.

The position is full-time at Naples Beach Club, a Four Seasons Resort in Naples, Florida. The successful candidate must have a flexible schedule and be able to work afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays. Continuous standing for eight or more hours per day and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds are required. Fluency in English and current U.S. work authorization are also required.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of bartending experience.
• Strong interpersonal and personal presentation skills.
• Guest-focused mentality and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.
• Confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to requests.
• Ability to stand continuously for 8 or more hours per day.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Fluency in English.
• Current work authorization in the United States.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Bartending experience in a luxury hotel and/or high-end bar environment.
• Working knowledge of the Micros POS system.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks, including their origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain working knowledge of the wine list, classic cocktail recipes, and specialty drinks.
• Provide prompt, efficient beverage service and pour and mix according to established recipes, state and city alcohol laws, and Four Seasons service standards and sequence of service.
• Confirm guest orders from Servers using the resort’s point-of-sale system, check completed orders against the original order, anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions.
• Respond to guest requests and concerns courteously, efficiently, urgently, and appropriately.
• Assist with drink development, promotions and special events, product inventory, and log entries for voids and spillage; cut and prepare fruit and other beverage garnishments; and perform related tasks.
• Follow bar policies and procedures and daily checklists.
• Greet guests promptly and courteously with eye contact and a smile, and provide professional, courteous, and efficient service.
