About The Position

Embassy Suites Brunswick is seeking a Bartender to join its restaurant team. The Bartender provides fast, friendly, efficient, and professional bar service while maintaining sanitation standards. The role prepares and serves drinks, mixes classic and innovative beverages to meet customers’ needs, and interacts with hotel guests to provide a positive experience in the bar or lounge.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Prior bartending and cash-handling experience.
Excellent oral communication skills.
Positive interpersonal skills.
Applicable state health and/or alcohol compliance card.
Ability and flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

Hospitality experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet guests.
Take beverage orders from restaurant servers or directly from guests.
Mix drinks, cocktails, and other bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards.
Ensure the assigned bar area is equipped with the tools and products needed to mix beverages and serve guests.
Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies.
Serve snacks or food items to guests seated at the bar where appropriate.
Maintain thorough knowledge of food and beverage products, menus, and promotions.
Keep the working area clean, including sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning glass doors and windows as needed.
Provide guests with guidance about resort activities, dining options, and general resort and regional information.
Maintain sanitation standards.
