About The Position

As a Bartender at AMC, you provide welcoming, attentive service in a fast-paced theatre setting and help create a memorable movie experience for guests. AMC provides training in bartending, including mixing drinks and pouring portions. The role includes suggesting featured and premium beverages, checking identification, maintaining a clean and stocked bar, and opening and closing the bar. Bartenders work collaboratively, follow safety and company procedures, and help create an inclusive, respectful environment. The position requires evening, weekend, and occasional holiday availability. Compensation starts at $6.05 per hour plus tips; actual compensation may vary by market and may be influenced by skills, experience, or location.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Bartender experience is appreciated but not required.
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and occasional holidays.
Friendly, outgoing personality and enjoyment of interacting with people.
Strong guest service, communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.
Ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced environment.
Interest in movies and enthusiasm for creating a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

Welcome guests and serve beverages to enhance their movie experience.
Complete AMC-provided bartending training, including learning to mix drinks and pour portions.
Suggest featured and premium beverages to guests.
Check guests’ IDs and serve only those aged 21 or older, following applicable laws and guidelines.
Keep the bar area clean and stocked.
Open the bar at the start of the day and close it at night, completing setup and cleanup.
Follow instructions for the safe use of chemicals and cleaning materials.
Work with fellow bartenders and support the team to keep operations running smoothly.
Help create an inclusive environment in which everyone feels welcomed, valued, and respected.
Follow AMC Wardrobe 101 Standards, including required shoes, pants, shirt, and any items required by local regulations.
Maintain a professional and positive demeanor.
Follow all Company Policies and Procedures.
Show up on time and complete required training and certifications.
