About The Position

Esplanade by the Islands in Naples, Florida, is hiring a full-time Bartender for its hospitality-focused property. The role involves preparing and serving alcoholic beverages, managing bar inventory and transactions, supporting catered and special events, and providing attentive guest service while following applicable liquor laws and safe work practices. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and one year of bartending experience or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Candidates must be at least 21 years old to serve alcohol under state requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED, and one year of bartending experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old to meet state age requirements for serving alcohol.
• Knowledge of cocktail recipes and wine varieties.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.

Responsibilities

• Stock the bar and mix and serve alcoholic beverages.
• Assist with cost control and maintain inventory and inventory records.
• Monitor food and beverage products and notify management promptly when supplies are needed.
• Comply with applicable state liquor laws and management's standard operating procedures.
• Communicate guest requests and concerns to the Department Manager.
• Perform opening and closing duties, including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restocking.
• Account for checks and cash transactions.
• Use the Point of Sales System.
• Review banquet schedules, calendars of events, and special events for changes.
• Serve catered parties from service or portable bars.
• Occasionally serve meals to guests.
• Incorporate safe work practices into job performance.
• Perform other duties as required.
