About The Position
FLIK is hiring a full-time Bartender at Chase Sapphire Lounge LAX in Los Angeles, California. The role prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The schedule is five days per week, with days and hours varying. The fixed pay rate is $32.65 per hour. Previous bartending experience is required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of bartending experience.
Responsibilities
- Follow state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations, including rules for serving alcohol to minors and intoxicated guests.
- Set up assigned bars and requisition and stock beverages, supplies, glassware, ice, produce, and other bar items.
- Maintain stock and prepare, cure, and store fresh garnishes, juices, and other perishables to preserve product quality.
- Greet guests courteously and in a friendly manner.
- Take or process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks according to standard recipes and prudent portion control.
- Check guests at the bar for proper identification.
- Recognize and respond to guest inebriation as trained, and demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
- Receive guest cash, make change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly completed.
- Secure beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, cash drops, and the bank at closing or when required.
- Perform general cleaning in accordance with health and safety standards and keep the work area clean and organized.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display.
- Wash and sterilize stemware.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
