About The Position

Eurest is hiring a full-time Bartender at Delta, 500 Terminal Drive, Boston, Massachusetts. The Bartender prepares and serves beverages to guests in the bar area in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. This role requires bar, customer service, and food safety experience. The schedule is full time; days and hours may vary, and weekend availability is required. Pay is $20.86 per hour, with weekly pay and parking noted as perks. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.

Requirements

Bar experience required.

Responsibilities

Follow state, federal, and company liquor regulations when serving alcoholic beverages, including rules concerning minors and intoxicated guests.
Set up assigned bars and requisition and stock beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
Maintain stock and prepare, cure, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to preserve product quality.
Greet guests courteously and in a friendly manner.
Take and/or process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks according to standard recipes while practicing prudent portion control.
Check guests at the bar for proper identification and respond to guest inebriation as trained.
Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
Receive guest payments, make change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly completed.
Secure beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, cash drops, and the bank at close or as required.
Perform general cleaning and maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with health and safety standards.
Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display.
Wash and sterilize stemware.
Perform other duties as assigned.
