About The Position

This position is located at Club Stewart, Fort Stewart, GA. Operates a small full-service bar, mixing and serving the full range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. Records sales, makes change or prepares charge slips in accordance with the operating procedures. Stocks bar. Keeps bar, utensils, equipment and work area clean and sanitary. Keeps records of quantities of beverages dispensed and submits requirement for re-stocking to supervisor. Receives and checks quantity and description of stock. Uses tact and courtesy to deny further sales to persons whose conduct has become unruly or who appear to be intoxicated. Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
  • Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
  • Satisfactory completion of a minimum of 4 hours initial food sanitation and safety training is required within 30 days of employment and a minimum of 4 hours refresher training annually.
  • Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks to include a Tier 1 background investigation.
  • Satisfactory completion of physical examination.
  • Must meet state/local age requirements (21 - required age) for the serving of alcoholic beverage at the time of appointment.
  • Resumes must be two pages (or less).
  • Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.
  • Be able to lift and carry weights up to 40 pounds.
  • Possess math skills necessary to calculate patron bills and take inventory.
  • Skill in mixing and serving alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages.
  • Ability to monitor and direct the work of other bar staff.
