About The Position

The Bartender prepares beverages for patrons and serves them at the bar or through the wait staff. The role also involves maintaining a clean and organized work environment, stocking and managing bar supplies, and providing a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities

Mix beverages using a wide range of ingredients, including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruit.
Take beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serve drinks as requested, paying close attention to detail.
Fulfill patron requests in a timely manner.
Assess customer preferences and recommend drinks.
Interact with patrons to provide a positive and friendly guest experience.
Collect payment for drinks and provide change as needed.
Check identification to verify that customers meet legal age requirements.
Balance cash receipts.
Keep the bar stocked with liquor, beer, wine, mixers, ice, napkins, straws, glassware, and other accessories.
Clean the bar, tables, chairs, and work area to maintain a sanitary environment.
Organize the bar area to streamline drink preparation and inventory.
Place orders for liquor, beer, wine, and other supplies.
Slice, pit, and prepare fruit garnishes for drinks.
Plan bar menus.
Create unique drinks.
