About The Position

The PHO - ZEPHYR Bartender delivers an exceptional beverage experience in a dynamic hospitality environment. The role prepares and serves cocktails, beer, wine, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and creativity, while engaging guests professionally, offering recommendations, and helping create a welcoming atmosphere. The bartender also maintains a clean and organized bar, monitors inventory and communicates supply needs, and follows safety and alcohol service regulations. The position contributes to the overall guest experience and the establishment’s reputation for quality service.

Requirements

• Be of legal age to serve alcohol in the United States.
• Previous experience as a bartender or in a similar hospitality role.
• Basic knowledge of drink recipes and beverage preparation techniques.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in responsible alcohol service, such as TIPS or ServSafe Alcohol.
• Experience working in a high-volume bar or restaurant.
• Knowledge of craft cocktails and mixology trends.
• Ability to use point-of-sale (POS) systems efficiently.
• Multilingual abilities.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
• Engage with guests by taking orders, making recommendations, and responding to inquiries.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware, utensils, and equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate supply needs to management to ensure the bar is well-stocked.
• Comply with health, safety, and alcohol service regulations to maintain a safe environment for guests and staff.
