About The Position

The Bartender prepares and serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to the restaurant’s standard recipes while providing attentive service to bar patrons. The role also includes serving food to guests at the bar, maintaining and replenishing bar inventory and supplies, answering questions about menu offerings and restaurant services, and processing guest payments. The position calls for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, connects with guests, and works collaboratively with the restaurant team.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• 1–2 years of prior bartending experience.
• Positive energy and willingness to assist support staff and work as a team player.
• Ability to communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand and walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.

Responsibilities

• Create, prepare, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to standard drink recipes.
• Receive orders and serve food to guests dining at the bar.
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner.
• Assist with restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies, and complete required side work.
• Stay educated on menu offerings and promptly respond to questions about menus, dietary restrictions, and restaurant functions and services.
• Prepare and present final bills, process payments, and report gratuities in accordance with IRS income-reporting standards.
