About The Position

Medieval Times is seeking enthusiastic Bartenders to provide outstanding customer service by selling, preparing, and delivering alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for consumption on the premises. Bartenders engage with guests, help enhance their Medieval Times experience, and create a fun, welcoming atmosphere. They answer questions about beverages, glassware, and pricing; fulfill orders; process payments; and deliver beverages to guests in the arena. They also maintain bar equipment and fixtures to required cleanliness standards and comply with regulations. Training is provided on site, and no experience is necessary; an outgoing personality and passion for guest service are sought.

Requirements

Outgoing, positive, and enthusiastic personality with a passion for guest service.
Ability to process information through a POS computer system.
Ability to count money and make change.
Ability to proactively engage guests in making a sale.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members and guests.
Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete documentation.
Ability to stand, walk, and walk up and down stairs during assigned shifts.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
Ability to work varied hours and days, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Engage with guests and take drink orders.
Help guests enhance their Medieval Times experience and provide an enjoyable guest experience.
Answer questions about beverages, glassware, and pricing.
Fulfill drink orders neatly, promptly, and pleasantly.
Take money, make change, and balance the cash till.
Use the POS terminal to record sales transactions.
Deliver beverages to guests in the arena.
Clean bar equipment and fixtures to maintain cleanliness standards and comply with regulations.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
