About The Position

Bartenders at Crow's Bench create consistent craft cocktails using house recipes and provide excellent service to bar patrons. They also provide food and drink service and make drinks for servers’ patrons. This seasonal position begins in mid-November and continues through the Winter season. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have previous craft bar experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Previous craft bar experience is mandatory.
• At least two years of mixed-drink bartending experience with demonstrated competence.
• English reading, writing, and communication skills and basic math skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Idaho TIPS or ABC training; may be acquired on the job.
• Food Handlers permit.
• AllerTrain allergy certification.
• Ability to use a POS system.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per shift.
• Ability to lift over 25 pounds frequently and over 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Open the bar, count the till, open lockups, and complete setup and prep work.
• Inventory and stock product, change or move kegs and aligas, mix drinks, and create cocktail specials.
• Provide a high level of guest service and entertainment.
• Minimize waste by pouring drinks correctly.
• Check guest identification in accordance with Idaho liquor and identification laws, monitor guest intoxication, and take action or get help when necessary.
• Close the bar; complete closing and cleaning duties; prepare end-of-shift reports; submit accurate deposits to the central vault or auditor; and lock up the product and area.
• Pay attention to detail and help keep the bar and restaurant presentable.
• Manage and perform multiple tasks simultaneously, and be punctual.
• Notify the manager when bar inventory items are low.
