About The Position

The Bartender at La Hacienda provides professional, friendly and engaging service to guests. The role includes advising guests about beverage menu items, mixing drinks, managing beverage stock, and maintaining thorough knowledge of beverages, promotions, and menu items. The Bartender follows outlet service standards and safety and sanitation policies, and reports to the La Hacienda General Manager.

• Previous point-of-sale system experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Consistently provide professional, friendly and engaging service.
• Assist guests with beverage menu items in an informative and helpful manner.
• Mix drinks and control beverage stock according to guidelines.
• Maintain full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, particularly sugar cane spirits.
• Maintain full knowledge of menu items, garnishes, ingredients and preparation methods.
• Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standards.
• Follow safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
