About The Position

The Part Time Bartender is responsible for setting up the bar, mixing and serving drinks, and cleaning the bar area while delivering quality service, supporting guest satisfaction, maintaining company standards, and contributing to profit maximization. The role includes serving guests and cocktail servers, processing checks and payments, maintaining supplies and inventory levels, and following beverage safety requirements and state liquor laws.

Requirements

• Bartending training and certification.
• Responsible Alcohol Service Certified.
• At least 6 months of bartending experience.
• Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
• Able to follow verbal and written instructions in English and communicate verbally and in writing.
• Able to perform multiple tasks at once and remain organized and attentive to details in crowded, noisy situations.
• Able to use tact and understanding when addressing customer-service problems, including stressful and emotional situations.
• Able to accurately count cash and operate a cash register.
• Able to perform the stated physical demands, including prolonged standing, walking, lifting, carrying, bending, kneeling, maneuvering in narrow areas, and climbing stairs.

Responsibilities

• Set up, mix, and serve drinks to guests and cocktail servers according to established guidelines, procedures, policies, and beverage and safety controls.
• Provide guest service in a cordial, efficient, and professional manner, maintaining a commitment to guest satisfaction.
• Ring guest checks, collect cash, and process credit and room charges according to company policies and procedures.
• Complete liquor requisitions and supply lists.
• Know and comply with state liquor laws.
• Ensure established inventory pars are maintained.
• Perform sidework duties according to sidework schedules.
• Clean the bar area.
