About The Position

The Bartender works in a fast-paced restaurant environment, preparing and serving drinks while tending to bar patrons and creating a positive guest experience. The role also includes serving food to guests at the bar, maintaining and replenishing bar inventory and supplies, staying knowledgeable about menu offerings, and handling guest payments and gratuity reporting.

Requirements

• Be 21 years of age or older.
• Have 1–2 years of prior bartending experience.
• Bring positive energy, assist fellow support staff, and work as a team player.
• Communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
• Have a flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Create, prepare, garnish, and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks according to the restaurant’s standard drink recipes while tending to bar patrons.
• Receive orders and serve food to guests dining at the bar.
• Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner.
• Assist with restocking and replenishing bar inventory and supplies, and complete required side work.
• Remain educated on menu offerings and promptly respond to questions about menus, dietary restrictions, and restaurant functions and services.
• Prepare and present final bills, process payments, and report gratuities received in accordance with IRS income-reporting standards.
