About The Position
Culinaire is hiring on-call Bartenders at Music Hall at Fair Park in Dallas, Texas. The position prepares and serves beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner. The schedule is on call, Sunday through Saturday, with hours that may vary; further details are provided during the interview. Previous bartending experience is required. The fixed pay rate is $6.55 per hour.

- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the position satisfactorily, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Responsibilities
- Follow state, federal, and company liquor regulations, including rules about serving minors and intoxicated guests.
- Set up assigned bars and requisition and stock beverages, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice, and produce.
- Maintain stock and prepare, cure, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables to ensure product quality.
- Greet guests courteously and in a friendly manner.
- Take or process drink orders; mix, garnish, and present drinks according to standard recipes, using prudent portion control.
- Check guests at the bar for proper identification.
- Recognize and respond to guest inebriation as trained, and demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws.
- Receive cash, make change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure vouchers are properly completed.
- Lock up and store beverage products, food, equipment, deposits, and cash drops; secure the bank.
- Perform general cleaning and maintain a clean, organized work area in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive bar display.
- Wash and sterilize stemware.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
