About The Position

This on-call position provides beverage services to guests and reports to the Food and Beverage Director. The Bartender performs duties conscientiously and with a customer-service focus to provide a high-quality guest experience and consistently exceed customer needs. The role also promotes Grey Oaks Country Club's core values, mission, and culture. Grey Oaks Country Club is a country club in Naples, Florida, with more than 250 professionals. Its facilities include clubhouses, dining areas, golf amenities, a wellness center, a sports center, and a pool café. Staff are committed to professional service for members and their guests.

Requirements

At least two years of serving experience in a hospitality setting.
Knowledge of wine, beer, and specialty cocktails.
Ability to interact with customers, coworkers, and management in positive, supportive, and cooperative ways.
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-service-oriented environment and perform duties under pressure and in a timely manner.

Nice To Haves

Point-of-sale computer experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

Deliver consistently high-level customer service and maintain a safe environment by identifying problem clients and having them removed.
Keep the bar area clean according to company guidelines and local health department requirements.
Maintain an accurate cash drawer and account for discrepancies in the final tally.
Mix drinks according to serving sizes provided by management to help control drink costs.
Develop an efficient work pace to keep customers at the bar and in the dining room satisfied.
Learn and follow restaurant service standards to provide guests and customers with a high level of service and an enjoyable experience.
Provide immediate attention to guests upon seating.
Perform clean-up and closing duties as assigned by the manager.
Perform other duties as assigned.
