About The Position

Schulte Hospitality Group is seeking a dynamic, service-oriented Bartender to provide hospitality and service to guests. The role involves preparing the bar, serving drinks according to established standards and guest preferences, handling payments, and helping ensure guests are engaged and satisfied. Bartenders monitor guests for alcohol overconsumption and take appropriate steps, and secure beverage, food, equipment, and cash at closing. This is a tipped-eligible position.

Requirements

Minimum high school education.
At least three years of experience in a bartending role.
Thorough knowledge of alcohol-serving practices and standards.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally.
Ability to exceed guest expectations.
Detail-oriented.
Team player.

Nice To Haves

Bartending certification.
Alcohol awareness certification.

Responsibilities

Set up the bar with appropriate levels of liquor, juices, crushes, additives, soda, and other supplies.
Keep the bar, glasses, and cutlery clean and sanitized.
Ensure guests are of legal age to consume alcohol.
Prepare drink orders according to bar standards and guest preferences.
Present bar bills and take payment.
Engage guests and ensure they are satisfied.
Monitor guests for alcohol overconsumption and take steps as necessary.
Lock up and store beverage, food, and other equipment items; deposit cash drops and secure the bank.
Perform other duties as assigned.
