About The Position

The Bartender at the Spark Lobby Bar at Hilton Columbus Downtown prepares and serves beverages while creating memorable guest experiences through warm, friendly hospitality. The role involves mixing and garnishing drinks to recipe standards, maintaining bar supplies and product quality, processing payments accurately, and responding to guest concerns professionally. The Bartender is expected to follow health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations and help maintain a safe environment for guests and team members.

Responsibilities

• Bring an upbeat and friendly attitude to guest interactions and proactively find ways to make each guest’s experience special.
• Mix, garnish, and serve beverages according to recipe standards, ensuring accuracy and guest satisfaction.
• Stock and organize beverages, glassware, perishables, and other bar supplies.
• Accurately process cash, credit and debit cards, gift certificates, and vouchers using the point-of-sale system.
• Manage inventory and ensure the freshness and quality of beverage-related items.
• Address guest concerns professionally and handle situations involving intoxicated guests with care and respect.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
