About The Position

Four Seasons Hotel San Francisco at Embarcadero is hiring a Temporary Full-Time Bartender. The assignment begins with a three-month term and may be extended based on the hotel's business needs. The Bartender prepares and serves beverages, provides attentive guest service, shares beverage knowledge, processes payments, and helps maintain and stock the bar. The role is based at the hotel's San Francisco location and calls for a guest-centric approach, strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Requirements

At least two years of bartending or related hospitality experience.
Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wines, beers, and beverage preparation techniques.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a guest-centric approach.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Ability to obtain and maintain required food-handling and alcohol-service certifications.
Ability to multitask in a demanding environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle difficult situations and guests.
Reading, writing, and oral proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve cocktails, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages according to established recipes and standards.
Provide attentive and engaging service to guests in the bar and lounge areas.
Recommend beverages and share knowledge of drinks, ingredients, and menu offerings.
Enter orders accurately and process cash, credit card, and other payment transactions using the POS system.
Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns professionally and promptly.
Keep the bar area clean, organized, and fully stocked.
Assist with inventory management, restocking, and preparation of garnishes and beverage components.
