About The Position

The Bartender at Sunset Bar provides exceptional guest service by sharing expert knowledge of wine, spirits, mixed drinks, and preparation methods. The role includes preparing and serving beverages according to established recipes and service standards, responding to guest needs, and supporting bar operations such as inventory, supplies, drink development, promotions, and special events. Sunset Bar is a relaxed outdoor beach bar at the Naples Beach Club, serving tropical cocktails and Latin-inspired food and often hosting live music.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of bartending experience.
• Strong interpersonal and personal presentation skills.
• Guest-focused mentality and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.
• Fluency in English.
• Current authorization to work in the United States.
• Ability to stand continuously for 8 or more hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule with availability for afternoon and evening shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Bartending experience in a luxury hotel or high-end bar environment.
• Working knowledge of the Micros POS system.
• Confident, outgoing personality and a can-do approach to requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledge of wines, spirits, and mixed drinks, including their origin, taste, and preparation methods; maintain working knowledge of the wine list, classic cocktail recipes, and specialty drinks.
• Provide quick and efficient beverage service, pouring and mixing according to established recipes and complying with state and city alcohol laws and Four Seasons service standards.
• Confirm guest orders from Servers using the resort’s point-of-sale system and verify completed orders against the original order.
• Anticipate guest needs, assess satisfaction, and offer suggestions.
• Handle guest requests courteously and efficiently, responding urgently and appropriately to concerns and requests.
• Assist with drink development, promotions, and special events.
• Assist with product inventory and bar supplies; process log entries for voids and spillage.
• Cut and prepare fruits and other beverage garnishments and perform related tasks.
• Follow bar policies and procedures and daily checklists; greet guests promptly and courteously with eye contact and a smile.
