Part Time High Bar Bartender

About The Position

Prepare and serve drinks to guests in a professional, courteous, and timely manner while providing outstanding service. Act as an advocate for the bar and restaurant, create personalized guest experiences, and develop relationships with guests that encourage them to return. The role may also involve taking on responsibilities outside the job description as needed.

Requirements

Passion for crafting and personalizing guest experiences.
Excellent wine and spirits knowledge.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Knowledge of credit card and cash handling procedures.
Ability to record accurate tip-out sheets and calculate accurate bill amounts.
Food Handler and Alcohol Serving Certifications, if applicable.
Flexible schedule and ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when needed.

Nice To Haves

One year of bartending experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests, and promptly serve food and beverages.
Pour drinks according to standard specifications and accurately receive and process orders in the POS system.
Serve food and drinks to guests and fill orders for servers.
Notify a manager if a guest is becoming intoxicated or behaving rudely toward other guests.
Fill and clean ice bins, clean and empty trash cans, change kegs, and stock beer and wine coolers.
Clean shelving, stainless steel, mixers, cups, blenders, and soda guns.
Follow uniform and grooming specifications.
Maintain cooperative communication with the support crew and management.
Unpack deliveries and stock the bar.
Take on responsibilities outside the job description as needed.
