About The Position

The Bartender delivers exceptional customer service in the hotel's Bar, Pool, and Restaurant outlets by creating and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. The role helps create a positive bar experience through a warm welcome, personalized service, and recommendations tailored to guests' preferences. Responsibilities also include responsible alcohol service, maintaining bar inventory and supplies, and keeping the workspace clean and organized.

Responsibilities

Create and serve a variety of cocktails and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, following recipes and ensuring proper presentation.
Serve wine, draught or bottled beer, and other beverages responsibly, checking identification to confirm guests meet the legal drinking age.
Welcome and engage with guests professionally, take orders, and promptly serve drinks and snacks.
Assess guest needs and preferences, recommend food and drinks, and promote daily specials and other offerings.
Prioritize guest satisfaction and help ensure a pleasant and memorable visit.
Maintain organized bar inventory and adequate supplies; handle orders and requisitions for liquor and other supplies.
Prepare attractive drink garnishes and maintain an appealing bar display.
Follow food and beverage regulations, responsible alcohol service requirements, safety guidelines, and applicable Alcohol Beverage Control board requirements, training, and restrictions.
Participate in daily stand-up meetings to stay informed about specials, promotions, and relevant updates.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene by wiping surfaces nightly, cleaning floors regularly, and taking out trash as needed.
Assist with monthly inventory counts and identify stock discrepancies.
Accurately report gratuities in accordance with company guidelines and federal law.
