About The Position
Provide food and beverage service to banquet function guests and ensure proper setup and breakdown of assigned banquets. The role serves and clears items, prepares and attends to banquet service areas according to event requirements, and helps maintain clean, stocked function areas. Requirements
- Good communication skills are required.
- Alcoholic Beverage Commission (ABC) and Food Handlers cards may be required.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- At least one year of serving experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Serve and clear food and beverage items according to function requirements.
- Set up buffets, bars, coffee breaks, and tables according to function diagrams and standards.
- Attend to buffets, bars, coffee breaks, and tables according to function requirements.
- Attend pre-shift meetings to learn event menus and requirements.
- Maintain full knowledge of the event menu and beverage selections.
- Maintain cleanliness in assigned banquet function areas and storerooms.
- Stock side stations to the standards for each function.
- Communicate clearly with banquet guests to ensure proper service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
