About The Position

As an on-call Barista at Starbucks inside Mandalay Place, you will create exceptional guest experiences through friendly customer service and quality beverages in a high-volume, fast-paced environment. This role is suited to someone who enjoys connecting with guests, multitasking, and creating memorable experiences as part of a dynamic team.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of prior relevant experience as a food handler in a similar environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Use knowledge of selling techniques and service delivery for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages and menu items.
• Take and place orders, and serve and garnish food and drinks efficiently and accurately in the work area as applicable.
• Collect money while following proper cash-handling and comp procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and appearance of front- and back-of-house areas; clear tables and counters and clean the dining area without interfering with guests’ comfort.
• Pack and complete orders according to guests’ preferences, including necessary condiments.
• Perform opening and closing duties based on shift assignment.
• Unload warehouse orders and stock them in designated storage areas, maintaining organization; stock and replenish supplies and machines as needed.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; otherwise refer them to management.
• Notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
