About The Position

The Barista prepares and serves a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, teas, and specialty items, while providing warm, excellent customer service. The role maintains a clean and organized workspace, operates point-of-sale systems, handles cash and credit transactions, and follows food safety and sanitation guidelines. The Barista restocks supplies and ingredients, collaborates with team members to support smooth café operations, and stays informed about menu items, promotions, and seasonal offerings.

Previous barista or food service experience is preferred but not required. The position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to multitask efficiently in a high-volume environment, basic math and cash-handling skills, and an interest in learning about coffee. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, is required.

The role involves standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and frequent bending, reaching, and repetitive motions.
