About The Position

Dolce Italian Philadelphia is seeking a friendly, customer-oriented Barista to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies, while providing excellent customer service. The role involves taking and preparing customer orders, operating coffee-making equipment and a cash register, and maintaining a clean, organized, stocked, and safe work area. The position requires flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

Requirements

• Knowledge of different coffee beverages and brewing methods.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders and ensure they are prepared in a timely manner.
• Prepare and serve beverages such as espresso, cappuccino, and lattes.
• Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines and grinders.
• Keep the work area clean, organized, and stocked with supplies.
• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner.
• Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register.
• Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe work environment.
