About The Position
As a Starbucks Barista, you create a warm and welcoming space where coffee and customer interactions spark connection. You help brighten customers’ days through friendly service, including greeting customers and remembering their favorite orders. The role suits someone who enjoys engaging with people and working in a fast-paced environment. Baristas prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, handle cash, and follow store policies and standards for product quality, safety, and security. They may perform a range of tasks during each shift and are expected to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers. Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, clear service and engage with customers to understand and respond to their needs.
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes or customer customizations, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantity, or ingredients.
- Handle cash and meet store standards for beverage and food quality, safety, and security.
- Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Follow store operating policies and standards.
