About The Position

As a Barista at Starbucks, you create warm and welcoming customer experiences, serving quality coffee, beverages, and food while building connections with customers. The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, engaging with customers, and contributing to a positive store experience. No previous experience is required. Baristas may perform a variety of tasks during each shift and are expected to follow store operating policies and standards.

Responsibilities

Engage with customers, understand their needs, and respond through clear and pleasant communication.
Prepare beverages and food according to standard recipes or customer modifications, including changes to temperature, ingredient quantities, or substituted ingredients.
Provide quality beverages and food products while following store operating policies and standards.
Handle cash and follow store safety and security standards.
Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
