Barista - Part Time

About The Position

The Barista is responsible for setting up the coffee bar, preparing and serving drinks, and cleaning the coffee bar area. The role ensures quality service, guest satisfaction, and compliance with company standards while supporting profit maximization. The Barista serves guests professionally, follows beverage and safety procedures, handles guest checks and payments, maintains supplies and established stock levels, and completes side work and other assigned duties.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent experience.
Three to six months of experience in a food and beverage services environment or establishment.
Ability to mix drinks correctly.
Ability to provide exceptional service to guests.
Ability to multitask and handle equipment, including equipment using modern technology.
Manual coordination to operate buttons, grasp items, and balance and carry trays loaded with food and beverages.
Ability to read, speak, and understand English.
Ability to communicate information and hotel services to management, staff, and guests.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve drinks to guests in accordance with established guidelines, procedures, policies, beverage controls, and safety standards.
Provide cordial, efficient, and professional guest service, with a commitment to guest satisfaction.
Ring guest checks and collect cash, process credits, and apply room charges according to company procedures.
Complete requisitions and supply lists and maintain established par levels.
Perform all side work duties.
Set up and clean the coffee bar area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
