PART TIME BARISTA
About The Position
As a Barista, you will prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages while providing fast, quality customer service. You will help keep the store clean and sanitary, ensure products are stocked, and contribute to a fun experience on every shift. This role is with an independent Scooter’s Coffee franchisee, which is the employee’s sole employer and sets its own employment terms, including wages, training, and benefits. Workdays may fall Monday through Sunday and on holidays. The store is closed on Christmas Day and closes early on Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve. Pay represents average tips included.
Responsibilities
- Perform shift opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Greet customers, take orders, and prepare and serve beverages and sweet offerings, including coffee, espresso drinks, blended coffees, teas, and pastries, in accordance with service standards.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain the store.
- Follow proper food handling procedures.
- Stock and replenish food, beverages, and utensils as needed.
- Maintain adequate inventory to support product availability and communicate shortages to the Store Manager.
- Serve customers efficiently by being knowledgeable about offerings.
- Stay up to date with personalized online training.
- Assist with receiving and unloading deliveries.
- Communicate with employees and management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
