About The Position

As a Barista at Starbucks, you create a warm and welcoming space where each cup of coffee can spark connection. You engage with customers, help make their visits meaningful, and work in a fast-paced store environment. You prepare beverages and food to standard recipes or customize orders to meet customer requests, while following store policies and standards. The role involves performing a range of tasks during each shift and working flexible hours that may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays. No previous experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming customer experience through friendly engagement and clear, pleasant communication.
• Discover and respond to customer needs.
• Prepare beverages and food according to standard recipes, including customized orders and recipe changes.
• Follow store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, and safety and security.
• Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
• Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
