About The Position

Philz is hiring a Barista to help build culture and community by creating a warm, authentic, kind, positive, and passionate experience for customers. The role involves staying active throughout the day and working with a communicative, supportive, and respectful team. Baristas are expected to embody Philz’s core values: Obsess Over Customers & Team, In Pursuit of Better, and Be Kind & Keep it Real. No prior barista experience is required. Philz provides training for candidates who have a passion for people and a willingness to learn. Requirements

A passion for people and a willingness to learn.
Ability to operate a variety of machines, tools, and equipment.
Visual acuity to make general observations regarding safety and accuracy of work.
Ability to remain in a stationary position for a minimum of 3 hours.
Ability to stand, walk, stoop, and kneel.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds intermittently and lift 3 pounds to shoulder height repetitively.
Ability to grasp, finger, and reach.
Ability to express or exchange information by means of the spoken word.
