About The Position
As a Starbucks Barista, you help create a warm and welcoming space where each cup of coffee can spark connection. You make customers’ visits meaningful through friendly service, engaging conversation, and attention to their preferences. The role is suited to someone who enjoys interacting with people, takes pride in their work, and can thrive in a fast-paced environment. Baristas prepare beverages and food to standard recipes or customize orders to meet customer requests. They follow store standards for product quality, cash handling, safety, and security, and perform a variety of tasks during each shift. No previous experience is required; Starbucks describes the role as an opportunity to grow through developmental experiences and access industry-leading benefits.
Requirements

- Available to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Ability to learn quickly.
- Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions, and request clarification when needed.

Responsibilities
- Provide friendly, clear, and pleasant customer service, identifying and responding to customer needs.
- Prepare food and beverages according to standard recipes and customer customization requests.
- Follow store operating policies and standards for product quality, cash handling, safety, and security.
- Perform a variety of tasks within the store during each shift.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
