About The Position

Town Pump is seeking a motivated and outgoing Store Barista Attendant. The role is primarily assigned to the STONE HOUSE COFFEE SHOTS of Town Pump, Inc. Convenience (C) Stores and involves customer service, coffee and food preparation, cash handling, merchandise support, and maintaining the coffee counter and store areas. The attendant follows STONE HOUSE COFFEE SHOTS recipes to prepare customer orders, works effectively in a fast-paced environment, and helps customers with product suggestions and merchandise location.

The position also includes operating the cash register, completing shift paperwork, answering calls, following vendor check-in procedures, handling customer complaints, and using store resources such as the price book, safety manual, and restroom logs. The attendant helps keep the storefront and customer areas clean and maintained, including seasonal shoveling. Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service, handle cash and accounting, stock, price, rotate, and display merchandise, and make coffee-counter sales and preparations.
• Fulfill food and beverage orders by following STONE HOUSE COFFEE SHOTS recipes for espressos, lattes, frappes, and coffee combinations.
• Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, build positive customer relationships, suggest products, and help customers locate merchandise.
• Operate the cash register, provide correct change, and scan credit cards and checks.
• Complete shift paperwork accurately and completely, answer phone calls, and clean and maintain the coffee counter.
• Advise the supervisor of situations or policy violations that adversely affect store operating performance.
• Use fire extinguishers and other safety equipment as needed.
• Follow vendor check-in procedures and listen to and handle customer complaints.
• Utilize the price book, safety manual, and store restroom logs.
• Maintain the storefront, customer seating areas, parking area, exterior windows, and sidewalks, including seasonal shoveling.
