Barista Associate (West Location)
About The Position
North 40 Outfitters is hiring a full-time Barista Associate at its West Location in Great Falls, Montana. The Barista helps shape the customer experience by providing outstanding service, preparing consistent products, generating sales, keeping the department clean and organized, and safeguarding company assets. The role is suited to an authentic, enthusiastic team member who values service and contributes to shared success. The position requires availability for scheduled shifts during business hours of Monday through Saturday, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sunday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Shifts may include weekends and certain holidays, and scheduling must be flexible to meet business needs. Requirements
- Previous barista and food-handling experience is required.
- Provide phenomenal customer service to North 40 guests.
- Communicate effectively and engage with individuals regularly.
- Multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Work in a fast-paced environment while remaining detailed and focused.
- Handle transactions accurately and count back change.
- Understand correct lifting and loading techniques.
- Lift and carry 0–15 lbs. continuously, 15–30 lbs. frequently, and 30–55 lbs. occasionally; team lift items over 55 lbs.
- Spend 100% of work time on feet, including using ladders, rolling staircases, and pallet jacks.
- Be available for scheduled shifts within the stated business hours, including weekends and certain holidays, with flexibility based on business needs.
- Work independently or as part of a group.
- Demonstrate dependability, initiative, adaptability, and willingness to learn.
- Work cooperatively, share credit, and define success collectively.
