About The Position
We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Bar Back to join our team! The Bar Back is key to a successful operation. This individual is responsible for supporting the bartenders and servers with delivering memorable hospitality to our guests. As a Bar Back, it is your responsibility to maintain the cleanliness and organization of the bar area, working to keep the bar stocked, filling requisitions and keeping the area clean. This individual will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude. This is a tremendous opportunity for someone looking to begin a career as a Bartender! - Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Stock liquor, wine, beer, mixers, juices, water, garnishes, glassware, ice, napkins, straws, and other required supplies.
- Replenish bar products before they reach critical levels.
- Maintain organized and sanitary storage and service areas.
- Transport beverage products from designated storage locations according to established procedures.
- Assist with opening and closing bar setup.
- Wash, polish, organize, and replenish glassware.
- Maintain adequate ice throughout service.
- Remove trash, empty bottles, cardboard, and other waste continuously.
- Maintain clean floors, counters, sinks, coolers, equipment, and work areas.
- Assist with receiving and storing beverage products when assigned.
- Follow product rotation and storage standards.
- Immediately communicate shortages, breakage, equipment issues, or unusual product usage.
- Never consume, distribute, transfer, or remove beverage products without authorization.
- Assist Bartenders during high-volume service while remaining within the responsibilities permitted for the classification.
- Support other resort bars as assigned based on business needs.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
