About The Position

The Barback helps keep the bar clean, organized, and stocked to support efficient guest service. The role prepares vacated bar spaces for new guests, assists bartenders as needed, and maintains bar supply and storage areas. The restaurant serves Latin food with Asian influences and offers coffeehouse and full-service dining and bar service.

Requirements

Physical stamina to lift and carry heavy items, including dishes and tubs.
High energy and stamina.
Ability to remain calm and work efficiently under pressure.
Ability to prioritize duties and manage time effectively.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Willingness to work evenings and weekends as required.
Excellent customer service skills and a guest-focused approach.
Ability to read menus, safety documents, and other work-related documents.

Nice To Haves

Previous restaurant experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Remove dishes and other items from the bar after meals.
Clean and prepare the bar area for new guests according to the restaurant’s standards.
Complete assigned opening, closing, and ongoing cleaning tasks.
Assist bartending staff by answering guest questions, pre-bussing, refilling non-alcoholic beverages, and supporting a quality guest experience.
Change empty kegs and maintain beer and returnable storage.
Support bartending and waitstaff with other duties as required.
Stock and prepare bar supplies.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.
