About The Position

aliveOne is looking for a Barback to join their team. This role involves ensuring the bar is prepared and set up for success, maintaining constant awareness of the bar's needs, changing kegs, keeping the bar and workspaces clean, replenishing stock (ice, alcohol, juices, glassware), and bussing tables. The ideal candidate will have a hospitality mindset, be a strong communicator, a team player, and bring positivity. The company aims to enhance neighborhoods by creating enjoyable guest experiences for people to gather, eat, and drink.

Requirements

• Experience in a high-volume bar or restaurant
• Great communication skills
• Be a good teammate
• Be responsible, show personal accountability, and be reliable
• High-volume barback experience preferred
• Must maintain alcohol knowledge and safety certifications as required by company and city/state
• Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and certain holidays

Responsibilities

• Ensure that the bar is prepared and set up for success
• Keep constant awareness of the bar’s needs
• Change blown kegs
• Keep the bar clean, including all workspaces and glassware
• Replenish and stock ice, alcohol, juices, glassware, etc.
• Bus tables throughout shift
