About The Position

Waldorf Astoria Beverly Hills is seeking a Barback to join its Food & Beverage Team. The hotel is a Forbes 5-Star, AAA 5-Diamond property with 170 rooms, 6,300 square feet of banquet space, and four food and beverage outlets. The Barback supports bar service by preparing ingredients, stocking supplies, helping maintain beer kegs and taps, assisting with inventory, and keeping bar and storage areas clean. The role also requires compliance with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations, while contributing to memorable guest experiences.

Responsibilities

• Prepare fresh ingredients by cutting, slicing, and peeling garnishes and fruits, mixing juices, and placing prepared supplies in designated containers.
• Work with the bartender to keep the bar stocked with glassware, ice, produce, condiments, and paper products.
• Transport, replace, and maintain beer kegs and taps to support uninterrupted service.
• Retrieve storeroom orders, visually check stock, reconcile items with written requisitions, and re-check deliveries.
• Maintain cleanliness in the bar area, beer lockers, refrigerators, and storage areas.
• Comply with health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol-awareness regulations.
