About The Position

The Barback assists wait staff and bartenders in multiple outlets by expediting food and replenishing supplies and service items as needed. The role supports bar setup and closing, maintains stocked and organized bar stations, and helps ensure guests and coworkers receive prompt, courteous service. The position requires flexible availability, including weekends and holidays, and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks safely.

Requirements

Must have flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
Must be able to bend, push, pull, and stand for extended periods.
Must be able to carry or lift at least 50 pounds.
Must have a current State Vendor’s Permit.

Nice To Haves

Previous bar experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with bar setup and opening, as well as closing.
Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Stock bar stations to par and maintain par levels of liquor bottles.
Maintain clean glassware as needed.
Become familiar with the liquors and beers sold in the bar.
Greet all guests promptly and courteously.
Attend to bartenders’ and servers’ needs while remaining calm and courteous.
Think clearly and quickly, maintain concentration, and make concise decisions.
Perform job functions with minimal supervision.
Keep the work area free of standing water, debris, and objects that could obstruct safe and effective work.
