About The Position

As a Bar Porter at ARIA, you support bartenders and beverage teams in a fast-paced luxury environment by keeping beverage operations running smoothly and efficiently. You maintain stocked, clean, and organized bar areas so that supplies and equipment are available for seamless service and an elevated guest experience.

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Six months of food service experience.

Nice To Haves

• Some experience working in a resort setting.

Responsibilities

• Stock and serve assigned beverage outlets, maintaining inventory levels for glassware, condiments, packaged beverages, paper products, and other necessary items.
• Maintain cleanliness of beverage areas and assigned bar equipment, tools, and supplies; remove trash and perform deep cleaning and sanitation, including cleaning refrigerators and countertops and mopping floors.
• Complete required paperwork, including bar transfers and dry stock deliveries.
• Maintain par levels of liquor, beer, and supplies in coolers and dry storage, and place orders as needed.
• Set up and break down portable bars in designated areas.
• Use the correct freight elevators and delivery routes to designated hotel areas and beverage outlets.
• Organize and maintain beverage pump rooms, storage rooms, and warehouses; identify non-stock items and alert management as necessary.
• Resolve guest complaints within the scope of authority; refer other matters to management and notify a supervisor and/or Security of unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft.
• Perform other job-related duties as requested.
