About The Position

We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Bar & Cafe Attendant to join our team. This role blends bartending, barista service, and light food service in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment. The ideal candidate is friendly, efficient, and takes pride in creating a clean, welcoming space while delivering excellent service. This is a seasonal opportunity beginning mid-may through October 31st.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in bartending, barista, or food service preferred
  • Comfortable handling multiple service functions in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
  • Basic knowledge of wine and cocktails (or willingness to learn)
  • Ability to operate POS systems
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift light to moderate items

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with coffee/espresso machines
  • Familiarity with food safety and handling practices
  • Interest in hospitality, food, and beverage trends

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and batch house beverages, including sangria and spritz selections, during designated prep time
  • Provide bartending service focused on wine, sangria, and spritz offerings
  • Operate POS system to process guest orders accurately and efficiently
  • Prepare and serve gelato using a capsule-style system (similar to Nespresso)
  • Deliver high-quality coffee and espresso beverages as part of barista service
  • Serve light bites such as oysters, shrimp, olives, and focaccia with proper presentation and food safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar, cafe, and service areas at all times
  • Complete opening and closing duties, including setup, breakdown, stocking, and cleaning
  • Ensure a positive guest experience through attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly service
