About The Position

This position involves completing opening and closing duties, including setting up supplies and tools, cleaning equipment and areas, and securing the premises. The attendant will stock and maintain work areas, input orders, and process customer payments. Responsibilities include taking orders, preparing food and coffee beverages, and managing appliance operations. The role also requires bussing coffee cart areas and tables, cleaning dishes and equipment, and managing cash handling procedures, including counting the bank, completing reports, and securing funds. Additionally, the attendant must adhere to all company safety and security policies, report incidents, and complete safety training. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance, protecting company assets, and ensuring guest satisfaction are key. This includes welcoming guests, anticipating needs, assisting individuals with disabilities, and fostering positive working relationships. The role requires reading and visually verifying information, inspecting equipment, and performing tasks that involve standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods. Physical requirements include moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects up to 25 pounds, manipulating objects with fine motor skills, and navigating various spaces including stairs and ramps. Reaching, bending, twisting, and performing other reasonable duties as requested are also part of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Complete opening and closing duties including setting up necessary supplies and tools, cleaning all equipment and areas, locking doors, etc.
  • Set up, stock, and maintain work areas.
  • Input orders into cash register system and collect payment from customer.
  • Take orders, record in MICROS system and prepare food and coffee beverages.
  • Ensure that appliances (e.g., coffee makers) are turned on/off at the appropriate times.
  • Bus coffee cart areas and tables.
  • Clean dishes, utensils, work areas, tables and equipment throughout the day.
  • Obtain change required for expected business level.
  • Count bank at end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
  • Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; and complete safety training and certifications.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards, anticipate and address guests’ service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation.
  • Speak with others using clear and professional language.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others, and support team to reach common goals.
