About The Position

The Banquets Server brings energy, enthusiasm, and exceptional service to hotel events, helping create memorable celebrations for guests. The role includes greeting guests warmly, communicating with guests and teammates, preparing banquet spaces with attention to detail, providing timely service from setup through closing, and calmly resolving issues while involving management when necessary. The Gunter Hotel is a historic downtown San Antonio hotel near the River Walk and the Alamo, with Bar 414 and Market on Houston.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
• Prior experience in banquet service or hospitality preferred.
• Alcohol Awareness and Food Handling certification as required by state regulations.
